For Pay Per Ride users, when you start a ride, we place a temporary $15 authorization on your payment method to confirm it is valid. This is a standard card check used to help prevent fraud and ensure smooth payment processing.
This authorization is not a ride charge. Depending on timing and your ride total, it may either be released by your card issuer or applied toward your final ride charges.
How it works:
- The $15 authorization is placed when you start a ride.
- How long it appears on your statement depends on your card issuer and is typically released within 5–7 business days.
